Dr. Sacha Drury is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor who has been practicing in the Lower Mainland since 2011. After beginning her career in her home town of North Vancouver, she joined Thrive Natural Health (formerly Selkirk Naturopathic Clinic) in Maple Ridge, where she now practices and leads her clinic.
Dr. Drury takes an individualized, root-cause approach to care, supporting patients in understanding their health and creating meaningful, sustainable change. She brings a strong mind-body-soul perspective to her work, recognizing how stress, subconscious patterns, and unprocessed emotions can influence physical health—including eating habits and behaviours that may feel difficult to shift.
In her naturopathic practice, Dr. Drury uses a variety of therapeutic modalities with emphasis on clinical nutrition, targeted supplementation, and herbal medicine. Her visits are both practical and educational, helping patients understand not just what to do, but why their body may be responding the way it is.
Dr. Drury treats a wide range of health concerns, with a particular focus on digestive health, women’s hormonal concerns, fertility, metabolism, weight management, and food addictions. She has a special interest in helping patients who feel “stuck” in their health despite doing many of the right things, guiding them toward deeper healing and a reconnection with their authentic selves.
Her counselling practice is offered separately from her naturopathic care and is ideal for those seeking more dedicated emotional and psychological support. In this space, she helps clients explore patterns and themes in their lives, gently tracing them back to their origins and supporting transformative shifts—so they can move toward a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and true to who they are.
She supports her counselling clients with a wide range of concerns, including binge eating and food-related patterns, addictions and attachments, grief and loss, stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as challenges related to self-worth, perfectionism, burnout, and feeling disconnected from oneself or one’s path.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. She completed her Diploma in Transpersonal Therapeutic Counselling at Clearmind International Institute in 2022 and is a member in good standing with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT).
Dr. Drury is licensed by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia and is a member in good standing of both the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She holds full prescriptive authority.
